The 'Quarter Barrel' ©

This was a design of necessity, as I myself was unable to use the steeper Half Barrel, thus the Quarter Barrel was born. This has been quite a popular item through the years with many of my clients doing rehab & therapy work, the Quater Barrel has filled a special niche.

We use a special high density foam that provides one with the ability to 'feel' the body performing though each of the exercises yet provide superior support & comfort.

The 'Half Barrel'

This has been a standard for long before my involvement with the Pilates world and has certainly been a popular item as well.

The 'Spine Corrector'

This has been a rather interesting development over the years as there is not much known history as to the correct shape. I fortunately was able to aquire a  pattern, through a friend, of an original piece made by Joe for a very well known person that trained with him.

The piece that we know make is of the NY style that is fully upholstered.  

However if you are interested in a California style with wood sides we would gladly make one for you.

The 'Ladder Barrel'

This is a very stable & strong piece with a frame made of solid Hard Maple (a.k.a. rock maple) with professionally jointed construction to provide you with a piece of equipment that will last for many generations.

The barrel sides are made from an incredibly strong fifteen layer cabinet quality plywood known as 'apple ply'.

The finish is of a superior furniture grade, first we start with a special sealer that is then coated with a premium catalized lacquer that is then sanded and hand rubbed with a special wax, giving the end finish an extremely smooth feel and a soft lustre.

All pieces are upholstered in genuine 'Naugahyde' brand vinyl, over a special high density foam that provides one with the ability to 'feel' the body performing though each of the exercises yet provide superior support & comfort.

It has great ajustablility of space between the ladder & barrel, and of course comes with 'The Step'© that is fully padded and covered in 'Nagahyde' to match.
